The Order

The Order is a community of spiritual practitioners that follow the Way of the mystic-Wizard. We combine the practices of non-dual mysticism with shamanic journeying for the purpose of spiritual and personal growth.

The purpose of the order is to hold and sustain the collective intention of the community. We are essentially a school that cultivates spiritual knowledge, practices esoteric teachings, and facilitates spiritual growth through journeys, meditations, and initiations. The order’s work is practical and experiential.

The College

The College of Mysticism and Wizardry is the organization within the Order that acts as platform for the interdisciplinary and experiential exploration of magic, shamanism, and mysticism. The college has a faculty of experienced practitioner-teachers in the Way of the Mystic-Wizard.

The faculty run classes, workshops, retreats and serve as mentors. Each faculty member contributes from their own experiential specialty. These specialties are wide ranging and practitioner and experiential rather than academic. Student practitioners in the college are engaged in learning about and exploring both mysticism and the inner shamanic world.

What we are not and what we are

Neither the order for the college is a degree seeking organization. There are no certificates of completion nor is there any tuition. We are also not a church, nor a religion. We are not a secret organization, nor have any of the traits of a cult. We have no Gurus. We are all simple practitioners.

The purpose of participation is the development of daily mystical and magical spiritual practice, with all the benefits that brings. The closest archetype from the past that aligns with our structure and intentions is that of an esoteric monastic order that is practical, magical, and mystical.

The Leadership Council of the Order

The Council of Mystic Wizards is made of four senior members of the order faculty and the Head of the Order. These five chart the course of the order and are responsible for maintaining its vision and mission and for managing the resources of the Order. The Head of the Order manages the daily life of the order and acts as the director of the college. All major policy decisions are by a majority vote of the order council.

The structure of the order of the college is subject to change through the decisions of the council.
